Report Fraud, Waste or Abuse

We want to know about any person or entity that steals from the MTA; fails to protect its assets; provides MTA with inferior or substandard products or services; engages in kickbacks, bribes, gratuities, procurement fraud, cheating, and/or double billing. We also want to know about any violation of law, rule, or regulation affecting the MTA, as well as any MTA systems or processes that are being mismanaged or abused. If you have any information or allegation against the MTA, one of its constituent agencies, or against any individual or entity that does or is trying to do business with the MTA, tell us about it. We work alone and through partnerships with a variety of law enforcement agencies on the federal, state, and local level, to combat any fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement within or affecting MTA operations, whether committed by employees, contractors, and/or third parties.

The more information you provide, including information you learn after making an initial report, the better equipped we are to conduct our audits and investigations.
